Advertising and Sales promotion are tools of marketing and important elements in the Company's Marketing policy. The aim of advertising and promotion, as with other marketing techniques, is to achieve Sales and a satisfactory level of profit by communicating a messages to potential customers.
Purpose of marketing communications is to provide information about the products in a favourable way, to motivate customers to want the product, and to inform the where it may be obtained.
They must Also distribute favourable information about the company, its policies and activities.
Marketing communications includes all those activities which dispense information:
**Advertising;
**Sales promotion;
**public relations;
**The Sales force;
**Stationery, including letter headings, invoices, business cards, etc.; and
**vehicles signs.
All these systems of communication will be directed towards two primary objectives:
a) to create an environment in which a the company's products will receive favourable reactions from consumers or users
b) to encourage Sales of the company's products by stimulating demands and achieve a satisfactory return on investiment.
