Mwangamila alidai kuwa waliwasiliana na mashahidi wao ambao ni askari kupitia kwa RCO wa Wilaya ya Kinondoni ,lakini aliwaambiwa  kuwa askari hao ni moja kati ya askari waliopo kwenye Sensa ambayo ni muhimu kama kesi hiyo.
Hivyo  Wakili huyo wa Serikali aliiomba mahakama itoe ahirisho lingine la mwisho  hadi Jumatatu  kwa sababu  askari hao bado  wapo kwenye Sensa ambayo inaisha Jumapili.

"A Day for Our Humanity"

"Aware of an earthquake that had struck moments earlier, Robin Needham rushed to the beach imploring others to get away from the shoreline on the island of Phuket, Thailand. He was still there when a massive wave inundated the coastline. Robin, Country Director of CARE Nepal, perished in the tsunami that devastated the shores of Indonesia, Thailand and other adjacent countries. It was December 26th, 2004.

On that day, a model humanitarian was lost to us. Robin had been on a much deserved annual holiday. He had devoted much of his life to helping others. Both in Africa and in Asia, Robin worked tirelessly on behalf of the less fortunate in society through the oversight of relief work and rights based approaches to development.

August 19th holds the designation of World Humanitarian Day. The United Nations encourages us to note this date as a time to recognize those who face danger and adversity in order to help others. An online dictionary defines a humanitarian as one who is devoted to the promotion of human welfare and the advancement of social reforms.

Those engaged in humanitarian work are not saints; they are not persons who should be placed in a separate category of elite people. They are men and women who have chosen to commit a part of their life to helping others. Each and every person has the capacity to promote human welfare and advance social reforms. Each person can be a humanitarian.

In the Republic of Georgia, especially in rural areas, hundreds of thousands of men, women and children live in seriously impoverished conditions. They can be invisible to society, tucked away in remote mountain villages or at the end of long, dusty roads. Many are displaced by conflict.

During August of 2008, CARE staff members were among the first on the scene in Gori, a town adjacent to South Ossetia. Driving past Russian military apparatus for the purpose of assessing the impact of war on families in the area, they witnessed first hand the damaging effects of armed conflict. They responded with relief supplies and have remained engaged in economic development for displaced families even today.

Some humanitarian actions require specialized expertise, but not all. The internationally renowned recording artist, Beyoncé, is filming a music video featuring her song “I Was Here” at the UN General Assembly Hall in New York to mark World Humanitarian Day. It will be released globally on August 19th. If you are a business person; a representative of government; a member of the media; an academic; a civil society representative; a staff-person in an NGO; an active citizen – there are many things you can do within your means to take action; to practice humanitarianism. Share your intent to act with others by pledging to complete at least one humanitarian action at www.whd-iwashere.org – a website linked to the Beyoncé music video release.

In his last posting in Nepal, Robin Needham committed himself to ensure that the “untouchables” or lowest caste in Nepali society were well-represented in CARE’s workforce. During the Maoist insurgency, Robin guided his organization to continue to engage in development work in spite of the risks that caused others to withdraw. For several years after his passing, I kept my last voicemail message from Robin to me on my phone. He had been confirming some meetings we were jointly planning. I deeply admired Robin for his convictions and the actions in which he took that backed up his principles. Left on the desk in his office in Katmandu, and found after his death, was a quote handwritten on a scrap of paper stating, “Go forth and make the world less miserable.”

We can all heed this call to action."
World Humanitarian Day commemorates the brutal terrorist attack on UN headquarters in Baghdad, Iraq, on August 19, 2003. 22 people were killed on that day, including UN special envoy Sergio Vieira de Mello. The Institute of Social Work (ISW) is one of the higher learning institutions in Tanzania.The Institute was established 1974.The first programme was an Ordinary Diploma in Social Work, which was designed to address the manpower problem facing the Social Welfare Department. The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) is located in the Dar es Salaam city centre, at the junction of Morogoro Road and Bibi Titi Mohamed Street. 2.Tanzania Institute of Accountancy-TIA/UHASIBU




TIA is one of the Technical Institutions in Tanzania, providing courses in accountancy and business related fields that are recognized by NACTE, the National Council for technical Education.

The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) was established as a Government Executive Agency under the Ministry of Finance in accordance with the Executive Agencies Act No. 30 of 1997. Announcement to the prospective applicants on the second round of application
Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) informs all prospective applicants that, applications for admission into higher learning institutions for the second round of application, will start on 13^th August 2012. The second round of application will involve:

a)    New applicants (Form 6, Teachers, FTC, NTA Level 6 and applicants with foreign certificates) who did not have the opportunity to apply during the first round of application; or

b)   Applicants who were not selected during the first round of application due to various reasons and whose names will be published on the TCU website or have been notified through their individual accounts of this fact.

NOTE:

i)          Applicants who applied but for some reasons they were not selected, are not required to pay another application fee instead they will only be required to choose another program by logging into their accounts.

ii)        The list of applicants who were not selected and hence are required to re-apply will be on TCU website on Tuesday 14^th August 2012.

How to apply

Applicants will apply through the Central Admissions System and applications will be treated on the first-come first-served basis this means the applicant is required to choose only one program he/she qualifies basing on program requirements given in the ‘Students Guidebook’ available on TCU website. Each programme is tied to an institution and that means the process involves one programme at a particular institution only.

Application fee for new applicants

·       Tanzanians will be required to pay an application a non-refundable fee of TSHS.30,000/- payable through NBC branches country wide,

·       Non-Tanzanians will be required to pay US$60 through CAS Account at any NBC bank countrywide (TCU-CAS Acc. No.074139000021), and

·       Non-Tanzanians residing outside Tanzania will be required to pay US$60 through CAS account number (TCU-CAS Acc.No.074139000021). The swift code: NLCBTZTX.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER ARRESTED FOR TAKING NAKED VIDEO OF STUDENT

The teacher-student relationship is probably one of the most sacred and most revered relationships in the world. So what happens when the one you trust most unconditionally, breaks that trust? Utter devastation! Kaori Yamakawa, a 25-year-old fourth-grade teacher at a public school in Kunitachi, Tokyo, broke her students’ trust by filming them in the nude when they were bathing.

Yamakawa was entrusted with the task of chaperoning sixth-grade girls, when they were on a school trip to Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture, on June 21 this year. As she was supervising the girls in the bath, she secretly filmed them and this is a direct violation of child pornography laws. Yamakawa has admitted to the charges however denies an intent to sell or distribute the incriminating videos. And by her own admission, she likes to “look at and to touch (the girls’) beautiful chests.”

This incident came to light when Yamakawa was caught on 15th July, using a concealed camera to film naked girls in a swimming pool changing room, at an amusement park in Tokyo’s Nerima Ward. Further investigations into this case led to the revelations of the school incident. The shocked Kunitachi Municipal Board of Education and the school called for an emergency meeting with the parents and guardians of the affected students and debriefed them about Yamakawa’s arrest.

Metropolitan Police Department (MPD)’s Nerima Station questioned Yamakawa and searched her school and her home in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, for more materials. Thankfully, besides these two videos, no other material was found. Apparently Yamakawa was hired in a temporary position in April 2011 but she managed to get a full-time position just this year. In fact she was popular with the parents for taking such good care of their children at school. Isn’t that what pedophiles do to gain trust? The MPD along with the prosecutors will also charge Yamakawa for violating Tokyo’s anti-nuisance ordinance for the swimming pool incident.

5 COMMON PROBLEMS DURING COLLEGES

1. Study.

College is challenging.  For many it requires a much larger effort than high school did, and unlike most high schools, college packs about two years of classes into one.  Many students take a full 15 credit semester, while other try to cram in 18 or even 21 credits.  At times it seems impossibe for students to stay on top of it all.
 

2. Money

 Tuition costs are rising at alarmingly high rates.  Couple that with eating out, shopping trips, gas for the car, and the price of textbooks, and you have a college student's worst nightmare.  College students drop out of school each year because they cannot afford it.  Others are forced to juggle full schedules with full time jobs to make ends meet.  It is becoming increasingly harder for students to graduate debt-free
 

3.Friends / Roommates
Friends and roommates are usually good for a good time.  However, they can get on each others nerves at times.  Because these students are living together in close quarters and seeing each other each day, this is just not a good thing
 
4.Partying

 Partying in itself really is not a problem.  Parties were designed so that attendees could have a good time.  However, many of the parties that go on at colleges today have the potential to cause problems.  At many parties alcohol, drugs, and sex rule the night.  Alcohol can lead to drunkenness and potentially deadly situations.  Having sex without taking the necessary precautions can spread diseases.
 
5. Relationships

 Relationships are good, but at times they can become a problem.  There are times in every realtionships where a couple will have a disagreement or issue.  Disagreements between couples can distract students from their school work and add to already high stress levels.  Break-ups can drive some students even further
